Ellie Mae is a Toronto-based fashion house that both designs and manufactures luxury clothing and accessories. Although the brand has developed a loyal, cult-like following, Ellie Mae approached Art & Science to help expand their customer base.
After an initial UX audit we identified and implemented a number of improvements to the interface that have boosted the store’s conversion optimization. The process continues today — our ongoing data analysis helps us to make continual enhancements to the purchase funnel.
Given Ellie Mae’s huge popularity on Instagram, creating a seamless mobile shopping experience was key. Working within the structures of their existing Shopify build, we completely revamped the product details page, and the purchase workflow for mobile.
Our partnership with Ellie Mae also involves some crucial improvements to the integration between the eCommerce platform and point of sale. We’ve greatly reduced the time it takes to launch a new collection on the site, saving the Ellie Mae team significant hours every month.
