Rethink Fundraising

Camp Trillium Childhood Cancer Support Centre is an organization that puts the joy back in childhood for kids living with cancer through support services that include their incredible summer camps.

When the not-for-profit organization decided to run a much-need fundraising campaign in September (Childhood Cancer Awareness Month), they sought Art & Science for help in developing a fundraising effort that would reach as many people as possible on limited budget.

Art & Science created an innovative fundraising model that turned the typical “sponsor me” model inside out, resulting in a “pay it forward” campaign called Septembering. The result was an exponential growth model that was not limited by any one person’s social network.
