Speaker’s Corner Meets the Social Web

The exhibition “Grace Kelly: From Celebrity to Princess” at the TIFF Bell Lightbox featured clothing, accessories, home movies and other memorabilia of the famous model turned actress turned royalty. Art & Science were tasked with developing a social media experience to raise awareness of the exhibition in the social media space, and help drive ticket sales.

We created an on-site video booth experience that asked visitors evocative and somewhat personal questions about their experience of the exhibition, with the aim of geneating reflective, genuine responses. Videos were automatically posted to YouTube and Facebook for social sharing.

During the four weeks of the activation, over 1,000 people recorded videos, and answered questions like: “How do you define glamour?“, and “What part of Grace Kelly’s life touched you the most?“.
